All
Vista's programs are genuinely bespoke and built in conjunction with our clients.
This is achieved by drawing on HR's knowledge of the target employees and their
working areas, building a program around key management behaviours and practical
guidance.
V Learning is built upon three key
concepts - pragmatism, ownership and reinforcement.
Pragmatism
For
a course to deliver value, its objectives should be attainable and measurable
and based on the reactions to ‘real-world’ scenarios. As a result, case study
materials are based on situations which may arise in the delegates own working
environment, putting the learning into context.Through
our programs, delegates are invited to draw on their own experiences of their
organisation and beyond which makes courses interactive, engaging, relevant and
vibrant.
Most of all, they provide practical insights that can be put into
practice.
Ownership
Vista
believes that delegates don't need to know the structure or applications of legal
provisions but how to deal with work situations. For example, the question is
not, ‘what section 98(4) of the Employment Rights Act 1996 says about the fairness
of a dismissal,’ but how to approach a disciplinary issue and an awareness of
how to approach the decision making process.
| | Therefore,
our in-company programs contain strong facilitation elements where delegates are
encouraged to identify for themselves what standards should be set and how to
approach issues within their business.
This promotes a sense of ownership
and commitment to put learning into action. Our online
courses ensure that practical ‘take-aways’ such as templates and checklists are
provided to ensure successful implementation of the learning.
Reinforcement
Vista's
service delivery model and indeed business strategy is predicated on long term
relationships. Unlike many organisations we are involved before, during and after
training programs. We therefore encourage and support the measuring of the value
of the programs and provide leading edge approaches to process confirmation strategies
and post course reinforcement techniques, both in the form of online and in-house
delivery.
