VHR Service
Our VHR professionals provide support to meet the needs
of our clients. Whether it is to benefit from another
pair of hands in respect of ad hoc generalist work, a
specific assignment or a program of pro-active support,
our VHR professionals are fully supported by the VHR employment
law specialists and bring cutting edge skills to complement
our clients’ internal resource.
Our services cover a range of HR areas of expertise, including:
Forensic
– support with disciplinary investigations or investigations
related to e.g. grievances or dignity at work complaints
Consultative
– support in respect of both collective and individual
consultations ranging from redundancies, TUPE transfers
to all scales or internal re-organisation
Resourcing
– support with recruitment campaigns and assessment centres
Strategic
– our senior members of our HR network have a wealth of
experience enabling them to support or lead the development
of HR strategy
Our network
is organised into four categories, dependent upon level
of experience:
(1) HR Director
(2) HR Business Partner
(3) HR Manager
(4) HR Advisor
Work is assigned to members of the network
dependent upon client need and the level of experience
and expertise required. It is often possible to place
a combination of VHR network members, combining transactional
HR support with HR leadership and management.

The VHR resource is
available can be included as part of the core service
subscription or on an ad hoc agreed daily or project rate.
The VHR service is ALWAYS backed by support
from the Vista employment law team, at no additional
cost.
The VHR team currently
provide a full forensic service to clients such as Airbus,
carrying out many disciplinary and grievance investigations.
This releases valuable internal resource and allows teams
to stay proximate to decision making, having not excluded
them by being involved in early stages of the process.
The VHR team are also often called upon to attend disciplinary
meetings to support operational managers, providing HR
support and accurate record.
Recently the team have been instructed to provide additional
resource to a large scale and high profile redundancy
program in the North West. This will see the team conducting
many redundancy consultation meetings and providing additional
HR support throughout the process.
